Abstract Plant pests pose a significant threat to agricultural crops, requiring the use of pesticides for effective and large-scale production. With increasing concerns about environmental health risks, as well potential resistance synthetic pesticides, there is growing need sustainable alternatives. Nanocomposites (NCs) offer promising solution due their unique properties such biodegradability, affordability accessibility. The development novel NCs improves management plant pests, mitigating emergence resistant persistent loss crop production damage they cause. This paper presents comprehensive review relevant literature in this field, focusing on applications modes action NC-based agriculture. By synthesising available information, provides valuable insights into value protection. results are intended inform researchers practitioners opportunities challenges associated with ultimately facilitating efficient pest strategies.
