Removable partial dentures (RPDs) are a typical treatment for supplanting missing teeth. Notwithstanding, concerns exist in regards to their effect on the health of abutment teeth supporting dental replacement. Objective: To assess impact RPDs periodontal Methods: This cross-sectional study included patients from Prosthodontics department, Bacha Khan Medical College (Medical Teaching Institute, Mardan) between January 6th, 2020, June 2020. Introduction. One of the commonly encountered pathologies in oral cavity when using removable dentures is denture stomatitis, attributed to Candida spp. colonization on surface. Aim. Determination type and quantity mucosal surfaces patients treated with "ThermoSens" partial before after treatment. Materials Methods. Thirty were prosthetically divided into 2 groups. In first group (n=20), treatment was performed dentures, while second (control) group, conventional (n=10). Swabs taken from surfaces. The samples tested for quantitative qualitative differentiation prosthetic treatment, at third month data statistically processed SPSS Statistics 26. Results. No significant difference observed regarding accumulation between two groups (p>5%), measured 1 3 months It found that predominant both albicans. Conclusion. Background: Polyamide dentures have added advantages over the acrylic in terms of esthetics, comfort and versatility to adapt undercut areas. Introduction Since the polished and fitting surface of denture base may promote colonization microorganisms, it is essential to know how different types bases prevent or encourage adhesion microorganisms. This study aimed compare microbial surfaces thermoplastic nylon, acetal, acrylic in Kennedy Class Ⅰ, partially edentulous patients. Materials methods Thirteen patients were included study. The group consisted eight males (61.54%) five females (38.46%), with an age range 41-50 years (mean 46.1 years). Three (groups) removable partial dentures will be made for each patient using materials: nylon; acetal; acrylic. swabbed after a one-month follow-up period. Microbial was evaluated by counting microorganisms' colony-forming units (CFU) collected specimens. data statistically analyzed. Results revealed no significant difference both between all studied materials. However, results showed that surface, median (40.5 CC x 102/ml) higher than acetal (29.0 nylon (16.0 102/ml). Introduction. In dentistry, there is a wide range of thermoplastic polymers for the removable constructions dental prostheses, which are extremely promising in modern practice. Successful prosthetics patients will depend on properties selected structural materials.. Purpose study was to summarize current information, based review literary sources, use base materials manufacture prostheses and improves effectiveness orthopedic treatment with complete or partial absence teeth. Methods. A literature conducted using PubMed, Web Science, SCOPUS, Google Scholar up January 2024. There no restriction date publication language. Резюме. Зміни у фагоцитарній активності лейкоцитів при бактеріально-імунному пародонтиті можуть бути важливим показником прогресування захворювання і впливу ортопедичних конструкцій на імунну реакцію організму використанні протезних базисів. Мета дослідження – з’ясувати патогенетичну роль неспецифічної ланки реактивності експериментальному та за умови використання різних типів знімних конструкцій. Матеріали методи. Експерименти було проведено білих щурах. Зубні протези виготовляли стандартними методами: акрилові базиси шляхом термічної полімеризації з поліметакрилатного матеріалу, а нейлонові термопластичного матеріалу методом пресування під тиском. Експериментальний бактеріально-імунний пародонтит дослідних тварин індуковано ін’єкційного введення суміші мікроорганізмів, суспендованих яєчному білку в тканини пародонта. Кров для отримували механічно ушкоджених судин ділянці запалення. Мазки готували фарбували Ціля Нільсена. Результати виражали вигляді фагоцитарного числа індексу. досліджень їх обговорення. На 30-ту добу запального процесу пародонтальному комплексі фагоцитарна активність зросла. Під час індексу використанням акрилових базисів виявлено його підвищення, порівняно контрольними тваринами, цей індекс також був більшим, групою щурів, які мали без протезування. При нейлоновими конструкціями фагоцитарний гранулоцитів перевищував показник контрольній групі. Зазначений вищим, ніж показники протезування акриловими протезними базисами. Фагоцитарне число умов протезів збільшилось, показниками контролю групи протезування, й отримані результати були вищими. застосуванні ней­лонової пластмаси даний значно рівень показника контрольної виявився вищим від показників, що щурів Порівняно даними, отриманими групі іншим типом базисної акрилом, фагоцитарне підвищене. Висновки. розвитку модельованого відзначалося підвищення фагоцитарної крові. Використання сприяло збільшенню значень В базисами рівня із запаленням протезами.
