Diabetes
is
one
of
the
global
healthcare
problems
requiring
development
reliable
and
accurate
devices
for
monitoring
blood
glucose
levels.
In
this
study,
a
non-enzymatic
sensor
based
on
modified
poly(ethylene
terephthalate)
track-etched
membrane
(PET
TeMs)
was
developed
electrochemical
detection
glucose.
For
first
time,
modification
using
mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane
(MPTMS)
applied
to
improve
adhesion
gold
nanostructures
enhance
efficiency
electroless
deposition
process.
The
significantly
increased
real
surface
area
0.91±0.25
cm².
Voltammetric
measurements
showed
linear
dependence
between
current
density
concentration
in
range
0.1
16
mM,
with
limit
0.058
mM
PET
TeMs/MPTMS@Au
sensors.
sensors
demonstrate
good
sensitivity
high
stability,
broadening
their
potential
application
biosensing.
