Chitosan
(CS)
occurs
naturally
as
an
alkaline
polysaccharide
and
has
been
demonstrated
to
have
several
activities
of
a
biological
nature.
Additionally,
CS
chains
functional
hydroxyl
amino
groups
that
are
active,
their
applications
can
be
expanded
by
chemically
or
molecularly
altering
the
molecules
incorporate
new
groups.
Due
its
outstanding
qualities,
including
biodegradability,
biocompatibility,
non-toxicity,
accessibility,
it
received
significant
interest
in
all
areas
biomedicine
nanomaterials
being
extremely
promising
drug
nanocarrier.
The
last
decades
produced
lot
CS-based
nanoparticles
(CSNPs),
with
increasing
number
research
papers
from
around
1500
