The development of new biopolymer production technologies is becoming increasingly relevant for tackling the negative impact linear plastics. Despite these potential benefits, their and commercialization still face several obstacles that might hinder widespread adoption. present systematic review aimed to offer a thorough analysis multi-level supply-side barriers across researchers, policymakers, industry professionals. Searches were performed in Web Science, SCOPUS, PubMed, IEEE Xplore between June July 2023. Publications 2019 2023 considered (n = 176). Content was coded following PICO structure results reported PRISMA checklist. We found technological knowledge most identified, followed by economic, regulatory, supply stability, behavioral challenges. Moreover, we 82% documents identified more than one barrier, reflecting complex interaction different challenges field. Fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, establishing clear regulatory frameworks, enhancing communication strategies are recommendations overcoming barriers. The accumulation of plastic wastes is one the most widely spread problems affecting environment. reality that plastics can be made from renewable resources and degrade naturally has prompted academics to think outside box develop “better for environment” items. In this paper, a bibliometric analysis scholarly publications related bio-based within last 20 years presented. Annual progression, geographic research area distribution, keyword co-occurrence were all examined. As large communities, the efficiency and effectiveness of waste management on university campuses are concern. This study aims to verify variable relationship, influence path, regulating factors college students’ attitudes behavior toward separation. A questionnaire survey was conducted at Henan Institute Science Technology, China, with 1300 respondents, among which 1213 questionnaires were valid. The SPSS software v23.0 used carry out statistical analysis collected data by applying multiple analyses. results showed that (i) females outperform males across internal external contextual factors, (ii) freshmen more positive separation behaviors, while upper-year behaviors susceptible (iii) attitudes, especially knowledge factor, have a significant (iv) as moderating variables, difference in impact amplitude different levels when affect behaviors.
