To
promote
sustainable
urban
development,
it
is
essential
to
assess
the
impacts
of
expansion
on
land-use
change
and
habitat
quality.Based
data
from
four
periods
land
use
in
Jiaozuo
City
(1990City
(
,
2000City
2010City
2020)),
China,
this
study
used
CA-Markov
InVEST
models
create
multi-scenario
projections
2030,
2040
2050
quality
status,
respectively.The
results
showed
that,

2020,
construction

trend
continuous
expansion,
with

57.75%,
areas

land,
forested
grassland,
water
area
decreasing
trend,

Ecological
network
construction

land
use/cover
change
(LULC)

ecosystem
service

(ESV)
dynamics

Urbanization
has
significantly
impacted
ecological
connectivity,
making
the
optimization
of
networks
(ENs)
crucial.

existing
strategies
focus
on
overall
network
structure
and
overlook
spatial
concentration
local
processes

(EPF),
limiting
effectiveness

study
proposes
a
novel
EN
framework
based
urban–rural
gradient
zoning
to
enhance
connectivity
