Constructing an ecological security pattern in ecologically fragile areas is crucial for maintaining regional stability. This study focuses on the Kunlun Mountain region, identifying sources based habitat suitability assessments and ecosystem services. An resistance evaluation index system constructed, considering topography, land use, quality. This study adopts the “Risk-Association-Driver” framework to construct a sustainable security evaluation from three dimensions of ecosystem service value, ecological risk, and drivers, with aim providing recommendations for regional function enhancement risk prevention control promoting development. Google Earth Engine was used extract Panjin City’s land use change data 2010 2023. Furthermore, this paper combines Equivalent Factor Approach Ecological Risk Model analyze dynamic changes value risk. The ecological environment of the Yellow River Source Area (YRSA) is crucial to Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and its risk management important for protection sustainable development Plateau. this study improves traditional evaluation method landscape risk(LER) based on ecosystem services detects spatial heterogeneity by using Geodetector. results are as follows: (1) temporal distribution LER in YRSA similar vulnerability. In past 20 years, areas high, medium-high, medium, medium-low have been converted low varying degrees. (2) Overall, difference significant, mainly dominated HH HL clustering. Meanwhile, Moran'I index Index decreases year year, indicating that aggregation autocorrelation weakens year. (3) Climatic factors most significant influence YRSA, followed topographic anthropogenic factors.
