Over the last century, architectural heritage conservation has evolved and transformed immensely. This study focuses on origin of contemporary theory from 19th century Authorized Heritage Discourse: doctrinal texts issued by ICOMOS, UNESCO, ICCROM. Conservation philosophies 5 theorists 23 charters documents are analyzed a qualitative perspective. It is structured three interwoven complementary theses: first, 20th centuries presented as backbone theories; second, detailed analysis Venice Charter given; third, an investigation into authorized policies after establishment Charter. The aim to understand evolution in dynamics time space practice. results demonstrate that began with strong privilege objectivity practice create real, tangible, static object was concerned only individual monuments or sites vulnerable trace time, stylistic restoration, armed conflicts. However, recent socio-economic environmental demands challenges have this understanding make subjective, dynamic, value-linked, contextual-based approach. Such shifts result realizing additional potential buildings can enhance viability livability communities; existing resources high material residual values, embodied material, energy, their continuous renovation rehabilitation contribute urban environment resilience decarbonization; source past experience rooted all aspects societies be used educate raise awareness about crisis climate change. Accordingly, four chapters been identified: 1. originated preserve authenticity integrity experts; 2. then, it moved protection associated still tendency toward authentic state experts local consultation; 3. significant role for community made its democratic exercise people help governments; 4. benefit reusing resources, nowadays, intermeshes sustainable development communities through multi-stakeholder engagement decision-making processes.

The Metaverse presents an emerging creative expression and collaboration frontier where generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) can play a pivotal role with its ability to generate multimodal content from simple prompts. These prompts allow the metaverse interact GenAI, context information, instructions, input data, or even output indications constituting prompt come within metaverse. However, their integration poses challenges regarding interoperability, lack of standards, scalability, maintaining high-quality user experience. This paper explores how GenAI productively assist in enhancing creativity contexts unlock new opportunities. We provide technical, in-depth overview different models for image, video, audio, 3D environments. also explore bottlenecks, opportunities, innovative applications perspectives end users, developers, service providers, AI researchers. survey commences by highlighting potential experience through dynamic generation populate massive virtual worlds. Subsequently, we shed light on ongoing research practices trends generation, realism alleviating bottlenecks related standardization, computational cost, privacy, safety. Lastly, share insights into promising directions toward enhancement, improved immersion, interactive applications.

Non-invasive sensing techniques have become a cornerstone in the study and preservation of Cultural Heritage. These offer means to investigate internal structure surface properties precious delicate objects without causing damage. This article is second three review articles exploring contact non-contact imaging methods applied Heritage at various scales encompassing micro- (i.e., manufacts), meso- (sites), macro-scales (landscapes). The unifying factor these their ability infer variations geometrical physical across inspected surfaces or volumes. allows researchers discover new historical sites, map spatial extent, characterize material features different scales, from landscapes artifacts. part focuses on meso-scale, inspection, documentation, study, characterization archeological monuments, submerged using both remote techniques.
