Various devices are used in the medical world to measure grip force. However, there is no well-defined method being quantify distribution of forces applied by post-stroke patients. It important track patient's progress neurofeedback training throughout rehabilitation with quantitative evaluation. A palm gripper measurement device developed, equipped Force Sensing Resistors (FSRs) (RP-S40-ST model) capture The provides valuable insights into assessing analogue value from FSRs linearly interpolated input range output using map function; 'map(avg_force, 0, 1023, 15)' scale 'fsrReading' 0 1023. converted a score 15 bar graph indicate amount force measured. accuracy showed Pearson’s r shows correlation trend between and length 0.97651 0.98083, respectively. matrix was plotted for three subjects different object sizes testing which adjusted R2 0.955 highest big objects lowest 0.63672 small objects.

Abstract This research is primarily motivated by the demand for a convenient and economical nondestructive testing solution in industrial scenarios. We present novel probe, which ingeniously designed with photoresistor sensor an illuminated light board, possessing remarkable features such as outstanding portability, minimal power consumption, low cost. The experimental evaluation of probe involves line-scanning process above crack position aluminum plate. As result, output signal form variable resistance values obtained. Notably, distinct peaks emerge precisely when traverses defects. These serve crucial indicator detecting surface defects plates. Moreover, varying amplitudes offer reliable means to discriminate between different depths. holds significant potential application quality assurance manufacturing, well routine inspection metallic structures, facilitating enhanced safety reliability engineering applications.
