This phenomenological qualitative study explored how forced migrants in South Africa cope with violent, traumatic experiences and precarious resettlement conditions. Data came from a larger empirical project examining migration, psychological distress, coping. In-depth interviews were conducted 14 refugees asylum seekers (Mage = 30.27, SDage 9.27; male 71.43%) who migrated five African countries to Durban, Africa. Despite overwhelming stressors, participants described pathways transcend victimhood hardship through engaging character strengths ways that promote post-traumatic growth. Qualitative analysis revealed overarching domains: spirituality religiousness, love kindness, hope optimism, persistence fortitude, gratitude thankfulness. Findings are framed within positive existential psychology dual-factor understandings of mental health, which attend both human suffering flourishing. Abstract Introduction Armed conflicts have a severe impact on the health of women and children. Global emergencies such as pandemics disease outbreaks further exacerbate challenges faced by vulnerable populations in accessing maternal, neonatal, child healthcare (MNCH). There is lack evidence that summarizes conflict-affected pregnant women, mothers, children MNCH services during global emergencies, mainly Ebola COVID-19 pandemics. This scoping review aimed to analyze studies evaluating addressing barriers comprehensive affected conflict. Methods The search was conducted PubMed, Scopus, Web Science databases using terms related COVID-19, conflicts, MNCH. Original published between 1990 2022 were retrieved. Articles MNCH-related settings included. Thematic analysis performed categorize findings identify solutions. Results Twenty-nine met inclusion criteria. Challenges identified various domains, including antenatal care, intrapartum postnatal vaccination, family planning, management childhood illnesses.
