This study analyzes the influence of social determinants (SD) and positive youth development (PYD) on mental health (MH) Chilean adolescents. A non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational-explanatory design was used to analyze data from 612 adolescents (43.46% male 56.54% female), aged between 11 19 years (M = 14.92, SD 1.50). The assessed variables included parental educational level, family affluence, gender, migratory status, ethnicity. PYD measured using 5Cs model (Competence, Confidence, Connection, Character, Caring). MH conceptualized through dual-factor model, which encompasses subjective well-being (SWB) psychopathological symptoms (PTH). analyses confirmatory factor analysis assess measurement models structural equation modeling examine both direct indirect effects hypothesized relationships. findings indicate that affluence gender are factors most consistently associated with dimensions MH. Confidence connection positively by enhancing SWB reducing PTH. Furthermore, these two act as significant mediators highlights importance considering socioeconomic context individual capabilities in promotion strategies, proposing an integrated approach addresses negative aspects adolescent health.

Psychological well-being refers to a mental state that allows an individual achieve their full potential, be productive and innovative in work, manage everyday stressors. This study aims assess university students' psychological by examining its associations with demographic factors such as gender, only child status, family background, grade level, financial aid household income. cross-sectional, online utilized the EPOCH Measure of Adolescent Well-being examine five positive indicators: Engagement, Perseverance, Optimism, Connectedness Happiness among Chinese students aged 18-25 years (N = 4,911). Mindfulness in Liberal Arts Field Immersions: Enhancing Civic Engagement and Experiential Learning DOI

Background: In South Asian contexts, several countries have developed liberal arts education at the undergraduate level based on western models. Field immersion comprises an important component of these programs to bolster learning. Mindfulness interventions can potentially enhance learner productivity various domains. Purpose: To study whether mindfulness training (MT) sessions offered online augment field learning in domains civic engagement, experiential learning, and experiencing, for students disciplines. Methodology/Approach: A quasi-experimental pre- posttest was conducted with disciplines across four cities. Findings/Conclusions: Participants MT reported higher scores engagement attitudes behaviors, experiencing vis-à-vis control group. Posttest were female students, those who lived their natal families or campus hostels, attended 25–48 (>50%) sessions, completed homework sessions. Implications: improves by enhancing realms environment, active relevance utility, meaningful as a higher-order outcome. Some refinements would be needed male residing paying guests non-campus hostels rented flats.
