The COVID-19 pandemic reduced physical activity and increased sedentary behavior, raising health risks. To combat this, a 100-day training program was designed to maintain improve fitness during lockdown. This program, which included challenge with assessments online sessions, aimed enhance motivation. Methods: Twenty participants (mean age 45.2 ± 12.7 years) good baseline completed strength, endurance, coordination, flexibility exercises over 100 days, monthly challenges. Fitness assessed at (T0), mid-program (T1), completion (T2). Results: Males initially showed higher BMI mild cardiovascular Flexibility improved for both genders, females increasing from 12.5 4.51 cm 14.8 6.65 males 4.4 6.33 8.8 10.69 cm. Males’ vertical jump height 20.7 13.05 28.2 10.49 In the challenge, push-up repetitions rose achieving excellent scores (>24 reps females, >25 males). advanced in repeated crunch test, while consistently excelled squat. Weight reductions were also observed, particularly overweight males. Conclusions: combined effectively sustained motivation among pandemic-related restrictions. Notable strength endurance improvements observed across reinforcing potential of interactive, remote programs promote periods limited activity.

In recent years, the scientific community has begun tо explore efficacy оf an integrated neurofeedback + biofeedback approach іn various conditions, both pathological and non-pathological. Although several studies have contributed valuable insights into its potential benefits, this review aims further investigate effectiveness by synthesizing current findings identifying areas for future research. Our goal іs provide a comprehensive overview that may highlight gaps existing literature propose directions subsequent studies. The search articles was conducted on digital databases PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science. Studies to used published between 2014 2023 reviews analyzed biofeedback, separately, related same time interval topics were selected. identified five compatible with objectives review, conditions: nicotine addiction, sports performance, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADHD). been shown be effective in improving aspects these such as reduction presence psychiatric symptoms, anxiety, depression, withdrawal symptoms increase self-esteem smokers; improvements communication, imitation, social/cognitive awareness, social behavior ASD subjects; attention, alertness, reaction champions; attention inhibitory control ADHD subjects. Further research, characterized greater methodological rigor, is therefore needed determine method superiority, if any, type training over single administration either. This intended serve catalyst signaling promising advancement methodologies.

Maintaining optimal levels of engagement during rehabilitation training is crucial for inducing neuroplasticity in the motor cortex, which directly influences positive outcomes. In this research article, we propose a virtual reality (VR) system that incorporates steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) paradigm to provide feedback. The utilizes flickering target and cursor detect user’s target-tracking task. Eighteen healthy participants were recruited experience three experimental conditions: no feedback (NoF), performance (PF), neurofeedback (NF). Our results reveal significantly greater Mu suppression NF condition compared other conditions. However, significant differences observed metrics, such as tracking error, among amount between PF conditions also showed substantial difference. These findings suggest efficacy our SSVEP-based stimulating cortex activity rehabilitation. Consequently, conclude neurofeedback, based on attentional state, proves be more effective promoting activation facilitating neuroplastic changes. This highlights integrating VR with an successful training.

ABSTRACT Neurofeedback training (NFT) has emerged as a promising technique for enhancing sports performance by enabling individuals to self‐regulate their neural activity. However, only 53% of the 13 included studies, all which published before 2021, in latest meta‐analyses NFT and motor focused on outcomes. Due rapid development neurofeedback, 8 high‐quality articles were 2023–2024 alone. Therefore, there is need new meta‐analysis update impact performance. In this systematic review meta‐analysis, we have not reassessed knowledge effect EEG neurofeedback but also incorporated standardized methodology, known CRED‐nf checklist (Consensus reporting experimental design clinical cognitive‐behavioral studies), methodological evaluation previous studies. The study protocol was pre‐registered, search conducted across major databases identify relevant randomized controlled trials. A total 25 studies qualitative synthesis, with 21 eligible meta‐analysis. revealed moderate positive sport tasks, Hedges's g 0.78 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.49–1.07. Importantly, subgroup analyses showed that higher quality scores, assessed checklist, had significantly larger sizes (Hedges's = 1.07) compared lower than median 0.49). This finding highlights importance addressing key gaps, such participant strategies, data processing methods, relationship between regulation success behavioral conclusion, showcases task, particularly when methodologies are employed, underscoring rigorous designs future research.

(1) Background: Neurofeedback training (NFT) has emerged as a promising approach for enhancing cognitive functions and reducing anxiety, yet its specific impact on university student populations requires further investigation. This study aims to examine the effects of NFT working memory improvement anxiety reduction within this demographic. (2) Methods: A total forty healthy volunteers were randomized into two groups: an experimental group that received control group. The protocol was administered using 14-channel Emotiv Epoc X headset (EMOTIV, Inc., San Francisco, CA 94102, USA) BrainViz software version Brain Visualizer 1.1 USA), focusing alpha frequency band target improvements in reductions anxiety. Assessment tools, including Corsi Block Memory Span tests State-Trait Anxiety Inventory-2 (STAI-2) applied pre- post-intervention. (3) Results: findings indicated increase wave amplitude from second day NFT, with statistically significant differences observed days 2 (p < 0.05) 8 0.01). Contrary expectations based previous literature, did not observe concurrent positive memory. Nonetheless, state levels recorded 0.001), corroborating NFT’s potential management. (4) Conclusions: While these results suggest some technique neural efficiency, variability across different highlights need investigation fully ascertain effectiveness. confirms beneficial among students, underscoring value psychological performance enhancement. Despite lack memory, highlight continued exploration applications settings, emphasizing utility educational therapeutic contexts.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a prevalent neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, which can have an important impact on people's daily functioning quality life. Traditional treatment methods, including medication behavioral therapy, often limited success present several challenges. Recent technological developments provide promising alternatives, notably through the integration neurofeedback virtual reality (VR) into clinical practice. This article explores potential combining these innovative tools to improve ADHD. Neurofeedback, technique that trains individuals regulate brain activity, has been shown be effective in managing ADHD symptoms. Similarly, VR provides immersive engaging environments adapted therapeutic needs. By with VR, practitioners create interactive personalized protocols aimed at improving patient engagement, adherence, outcomes. In this paper, we discuss mechanisms action, current applications empirical evidence supporting use technologies
