A three-year pilot study investigated the effectiveness of artificial intelligence (AI) as a motivational tool for teaching programming concepts within Croatian Informatics curriculum. The was conducted in schools through extracurricular activity EDIT CodeSchool with Development Intelligent Web Applications (RIWA) module. Twelve Split-Dalmatia County Republic Croatia participated, resulting 112 successfully completed student projects. program consisted two phases: (1) theoretical instruction examples and exercises, (2) project-based learning, where students developed final projects using JavaScript ml5.js library. employed project analysis semi-structured interviews to assess learning outcomes. Findings suggest that AI-enhanced can effectively support education without increasing instructional hours, providing insights integrating AI into existing curricula.

This research investigates the challenges and opportunities rural elementary teachers perceive in using AI as a pedagogical tool to support student learning schools. Using convergent parallel mixed methods approach, we analyzed responses from 45 who participated professional development on integration education.
