Purpose With ever-increasing global concerns over environmental degradation and resource scarcity, the need for sustainable manufacturing (SM) practices has become paramount. Industry 5.0 (I5.0), latest paradigm in industrial revolution, emphasizes integration of advanced technologies with human capabilities to achieve socially responsible production systems. This paper aims provide a comprehensive analysis role I5.0 enabling SM. Furthermore, review discusses into core I5.0. Abstract Industry 5.0 (I5.0) is the next industrial revolution that will leverage human intervention in collaboration with intelligent, logical, and smart machines to attain even more user-preferred resource-efficient manufacturing supply chain solutions. Industry 5.0 arrived and sounded the alarms, warning entrepreneurs to adopt it as quickly possible; advantage is that this industry still in its preliminary stages.
