Biodiesel, a renewable fuel for diesel vehicle engines, has been commonly produced from transesterification process involving triglycerides vegetable oil with alcohol. One of the most promising candidates due to its abundance in Indonesia is coconut oil. However, short carbon chain present necessitates use longer-chain alcohol types adjust biodiesel chain, such as isopropanol. Therefore, this research focused on producing (isopropyl ester) using isopropanol and NaOH catalyst through process. To enhance process, microwave technology was utilized ability lower production reaction time conventional one-hour timeframe less than ten minutes, increase energy efficiency, improve quality. The primary objective investigate impact time, concentration, power isopropyl ester yield. Further optimization conducted Response Surface Methodology (RSM) Box-Behnken Design (BBD) illustrate model's effectiveness applicability. Based BBD simulation, optimal condition 1-minute 0.2 wt.% 443.9 W power, maximizing yield 99.89%. This highlights potential assisted reliability innovative approach, contributing development enhanced quality that meets specifications Indonesian National Standard (SNI).

This paper describes modeling solar power generation as a renewable energy generator by simulating the analytical approach mean absolute error and root square (MAE RMSE). research estimates referring to long short-term memory (LSTM) network learning. Related this, Indonesian government is currently actively developing plants without ignoring surrounding environment. The integration of sources accurate prediction can hinder work grid use new sources. To overcome virtual plant be solution minimize errors. study proposes method for on-site efficiency with using two models, namely RMSE MAE account uncertainty from additional information on plants. A strategy verified against output photovoltaic (PV) modules set based data meteorological stations used simulate (VPP) model. forecast refers LSTM provides errors other learning methods, where simulated 12.36% 11.85% accuracy RMSE, respectively.

In Indonesia, rapid population growth has increased energy demand, especially in the transportation and power generation sectors. The Indonesian government been active promoting use of renewable energy, but transition from fossil is still faced with various challenges, including limited technology adequate infrastructure. Apart that, Indonesia's large potential coal main factor slowing down this transition. One promising alternative to convert into Dimethyl Ether (DME) through gasification process, which a thermochemical process for converting solid fuel gas, producing syngas containing H2, CO, CH4. Synthesis purification essential produce high-purity DME. This involves filter materials such as zeolite rice husk charcoal remove contaminants sulfur. Zeolite, its chemical absorption properties regular pore structure, effective absorbing H2S syngas. Meanwhile, charcoal, an agricultural waste rich silica porous shown absorbent material reduce content gas. research on compositions up-draft type CuO–ZnO–Al2O3 ZSM-5 catalysts, it was found that 3:7 ratio provided optimal performance. not only increases CH4 CO levels syngas, also reducing content. results showed highest DME production reached 90.10% at 3:7, while 2:8 5:5, 81.61% 73.64% respectively. These findings emphasize importance using diverse improving quality synthesis efficiency, strengthening steps accelerate towards more sustainable solutions Indonesia.

Coal switching from high- or medium- to low-rank categories is massively practiced. However, coal consumers, especially power plant, often experience problems such as slagging and fouling. To overcome these problems, adding additives blending can be carried out. In this study, five different coals were tested in a drop-tube combustor grade the best lowest according their ash deposition. Furthermore, effect of four compositions on deposition was investigated. The study comprised theoretical calculation prediction, drop tube furnace (DTF) combustion, morphology analysis, mineralogy analysis. test results showed that MgO-rich among coals, while sodium-rich being coal. Additionally, addition aluminum-based at 0.05 wt% into low-grade revealed less propensities compared other (0.05 MgO, 0.1 MgO + Al2O3) method. This result consistent with probe observations, morphology, which show clean surface unfused particles predominantly containing quartz.

<abstract> <p>There is a goal for practical renewable electrification and energy investments in underdeveloped regions. Indonesia's experience underscores the complexities challenges implementing such projects effectively. A study on effects of various socio-economic factors Carbon dioxide (CO<sub>2</sub>) emissions Indonesia highlights significant impact forest area, urbanization, industrialization carbon emissions. hybrid system consists PV, Biogas Generator, Wind Turbine that are successfully deployed. However, no economic analysis has been conducted to obtain best configuration system. We propose delve into effective integration combination power systems. In this study, we thoroughly analyzed systems areas using HOMER software. examined five different configurations: Solely biogas, complete generator integration, biogas hydrogen combo, coupled with PV system, combined wind turbine. Our findings indicated varying levels viability, operational performance, environmental across configurations, providing crucial insights policymakers stakeholders regions like Indonesia. The results showed Wind-Hydrogen Hydrogen Only schemes as most cost-effective, Total Net Present Cost (NPC) of, 969.27 Levelized Energy (LCOE) at zhongwenzy.218. Moreover, while CO<sub>2</sub> were similar all schemes, around 27,744 kg/year, All-Generator scheme had slightly higher 27,667 kg/year but led electricity production 29,101 kWh/year.
