Following each industrial revolution, spanning from Industry 1.0 to 4.0, a distinct manufacturing paradigm has consistently emerged. In the current environment and consumer-driven markets, Mass Customization Personalization are newer smart paradigms. Those novel approaches designed offer customers personalized products services, all while preserving efficiency of Production. Within this framework, bibliometric analysis was conducted in order review analyse existing literature. The main findings reveal numerous parallels differences between Personalization, especially aspects such as scope, customer involvement, product variety flexibility. Simultaneously, there various limitations revolving around data availability uncertainty. paradigms studied within context thus our study also focus on impact challenges fourth revolution Personalization.

Abstract The development of smart sustainable megapolises is associated with the formation city multifloor manufacturing clusters (CMFMCs) in them directly residential area order to reduce supply chain from manufacturer consumers. Additive technologies (ATs) belong green because they are considered environmentally due less production waste and ability reuse product materials within circular economy concept. Sustainable ATs additive management has become a priority sphere for scientific research, use any daily reality. Nevertheless, issues CMFMCs have not yet been sufficiently studied. primary goal this study was examine possibilities megapolis rational facilities multi-floor layout buildings, considering structure business process reengineering related needs services market. This paper presents novel model buildings CMFMCs, manufacturing, morphological analysis equipment (AME) used, balance material energy flows under infrastructure capacity limitations megapolis. verified based on case various options floor-by-floor grouping AME building CMFMCs. Management solutions maintaining flow material, water resources discussed. results may be useful an urban environment, taking into account market

Small- and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises (SMMEs) face intense competitiveness, necessitating ever greater productivity. Enterprises struggle to meet the demand for customized products while maintaining their The transition from mass customization (MC) personalization (MPe) leads a further increase in product variety and, thus, complexity. Digital transformation alone is not sufficient achieve MPe traditional adoption of modularity no longer ensures enterprise competitiveness this context increased variety. synergy between concepts could enhance efficiency design strategy. This study part research plan develop an effective implementation strategy addressing MPe. aim article identify main tools be considered Concepts are grouped into four combinations according level different production strategies. preliminary work serves as foundational larger aimed at adapting validating modular development that incorporates these concepts.

With the rise of technology, increasing competitiveness, market globalization and fourth industrial revolution, companies are forced to rethink way they do business create or maintain a competitive advantage. Consumers, who increasingly informed, demanding concerned about sustainable development, forcing adapt their needs respond adequately personalized demand. Small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in manufacturing sector must adjust this new context. The move towards mass customization is one meeting customer requirements. However, no strategy for making shift currently exists literature. aim article present operationalizing using modular tools. Action research used test proposed strategy. paper proposes 4 transformation axes migrate customization: Modular product design, process Technology use, Collaboration network. This also highlights need tackle design first customization, by proposing 3-stage strategy: architecture, standardization interfaces definition configuration rules. A case study

This article presents the development and validation of SBRI (Small Business Digital Maturity Assessment Road to Industry 4.0), an innovative methodology for assessing digital maturity supporting transformation specifically designed small manufacturing enterprises in context 4.0. Unlike existing models, which are often too complex or unsuitable smaller organizations, considers unique characteristics constraints businesses. The includes five key dimensions: Strategy, Technology, Process, People, Organization, elaborated into 25 subdimensions with specific criteria indicators. a structured roadmap through proposed continuous improvement cycle. An empirical study involving 23 Czech Republic has demonstrated validity practical applicability methodology. results showed average level enterprise 0.9 on scale 0 – 4. These findings suggest that businesses just at beginning their journey. Therefore, represents valuable tool navigating journey, contributing academic discourse application 4.0 principles business segment.
