This paper, a qualitative data presentation, was aimed at gathering the perception of an academician in leadership position who grew profession for over decade. The selected private higher education institution Malaysia, pre-pandemic period, underwent major change that had shift business direction followed by pandemic which impacted academics directly. Both academic and not only sustained impact dynamics took place but achieved goals shift. researchers interviewed to collect then thematically analyzed categorize, draw present what emerged. interview questions were developed obtain key person’s description evaluations institution’s continuous professional development (CPD) activities, planning, effort said institution. Data indicated is currently weathering challenges from being unable identify type CPD needed, staff lacking motivation commit or self-reflectively plan activities along with general lack emphasis on value personal institutional development. further sees reward linked pursuing influence as professionals. conviction they, turn, will learner growth, ultimately mission, has be made pressing matter. A clear link these points need purposeful communication between academics, human resources department, senior management address on-ground challenges, realistic budget support can available, prioritize urgent gaps, deploy references fill gaps effectively efficiently.

Unlocking Potential: The Positive Impact of In-Service Training on Science and Mathematics Teachers Teaching Strategies DOI Creative Commons

This study aimed to investigate the impact of in-service training on teaching strategies among secondary school teachers who teach science and mathematics in Mwanza, Tanzania. The utilized a quantitative research design collected data through an online questionnaire from sample 68 selected simple random sampling interview for few selcted teachers. Thematic analysis was conducted qualitative finding analyzed using SPSS software, findings indicated that had significant positive participating study's implications highlight importance investing teacher programs improve quality education Teachers participate can benefit increased confidence, knowledge, skills, which translate into more effective engaging practices. Suggestions further include investigating long-term effects students exploring most types different subjects contexts.
