Research currently focuses on immersive technologies like virtual reality (VR), augmented (AR), and mixed (MR). However, there is limited exploration of their application in sustainable smart cities with Building Information Modeling (BIM), remains a lack interdisciplinary integration within this domain aimed at fostering city development. Therefore, paper aims to explore the development status technology BIM cities, identifying trends research hotspots by employing triangulation method quantitative via bibliometric analysis qualitative content investigate relationship between cities. Digital inclusion is a critical component of sustainable e-government, ensuring equitable access to digital public services for all citizens. However, challenges such as limited literacy, infrastructural gaps, and institutional barriers hinder widespread adoption, particularly among marginalized populations. This study examines the key obstacles in e-government explores technology-driven policy-based solutions. A qualitative approach was employed, integrating case studies from developed developing nations assess best practices localized policy adaptations. The findings highlight that public–private partnerships, literacy programs, integration emerging technologies—such artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, cloud computing—play crucial role enhancing accessibility security.
