Well-rounded professionals must have competencies that adapt their expertise to contribute future advancements. Beyond technical prowess, skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, communication, leadership, management, and entrepreneurship are essential for the modern workforce solving twenty-first-century problems. Lifelong learning is a fundamental educational principle prepares individuals acquire knowledge at any stage. With this interest in mind, higher education institutions pursue abroad study programs involve students different opportunities. Stepping outside familiar environments immerses new challenges, fostering rich experience promotes development of shaped by global perspective. This research analyzes developed according model during abroad. Data were collected through 43-question semi-structured interview with 13 undergraduate engineering experiencing an program. Participants conducted personal assessment reflect on enhancement academic performance. The analyzed correlate those defined Tec21 Educational Model, designed Tecnologico de Monterrey 2019, which participants enrolled. defines seven every degree develop: self-knowledge innovative entrepreneurship, social intelligence, ethical civic engagement, reasoning complexity, digital transformation. Results indicate mainly communication. Such tackling they demonstrate ability generate creative solutions, communicate ideas effectively, foster meaningful collaboration. Conversely, transformation engagement less developed. These findings suggest areas improvement within model, emphasizing need cultivate aware societal impact proficient applying technological tools effectively.

Context. The technology acceptance model (TAM) is a theoretical framework that consists of perceived usefulness (PUS), ease use (PEU), attitude toward using (ATT), behavioral intention to (USI), and actual system use. Here, posed by the smartphone in higher education (SHE) described such as student self-management (MNG), learning results (LRS), achievements perceptions (SFB), cost-benefits (VCB), expectations (EXP) help understand explain how students’ adoption could be better achieved. Nowadays, after COVID-19 pandemic, motivation (MTV) quality (SQY) are two factors reinforce TAM model. Problem. research confronts challenges from dynamic rapidly changing environments. post-COVID-19 era introduces uncertainties, potentially affecting TAM-SHE model's long-term sustainability. fluidity preferences technological advancements obstruct establishment universally applicable for education. In the current labor market, developing STEM skills in students is a priority for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The present research assesses Competence Achievement Degree (CAD) of four disciplinary competencies undergraduate Biotechnology Engineering at private university Mexico. Descriptive statistics CADs, considering sociodemographic and academic variables (age, gender, nationality, campus region, provenance, admission origin, load), are presented. Data, filtered through Python, was statistically analyzed with Minitab software. competence Innovation Management (BT4) strongest among 2019 2020 cohorts. Meanwhile, other three (BT1: Bioproduct Development, BT2: Bioreactor Design, BT3: Bioprocess Design) had CADs above 90%. Although there no statistical difference between cohorts BT1, average both differed BT4. from Average Grades (CAGs) all competencies. However, cohort showed lowest correlation CAGs few significant associations tested variables.
