Air pollution is a critical global issue affecting sustainable development, and effectively addressing air requires consumers to improve quality through daily pro-environmental behaviors. Objective: The research opportunity addressed in this study is understanding how socio-technical system interactions within healthcare settings can be optimized to promote patient safety, particularly the context of infection risk analysis during critical clinician-patient and throughout care delivery. Background: Preventing pathogen spread environments that cause Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs) an ongoing challenge both U.S. globally. In complex inpatient delivery settings, variability clinical staff's control behaviors, such as hand hygiene compliance, hinder achievement optimal HAI prevention objectives. Method: authors employed Agent-based Modeling (ABM) conjunction with Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) a framework for evaluating simulated results safety behaviors like compliance impact overall environmental infectivity.
