Climate change is a contemporary global challenge that requires comprehensive solutions to mitigate its adverse effects. All human activities contribute climate change, mainly through atmospheric emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs), such as nitrous oxide (N2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), and methane (CH4). While most these are primarily due fossil fuel use, agriculture livestock production also significant share approximately 12% emissions. Most processes implemented within an animal husbandry unit associated with gas emissions, including manure management. This review explores the interconnection between management practices, highlighting potential for sustainable approaches mitigating GHG The key strategies management, anaerobic digestion, nutrient composting, separation treatment, improved storage handling, discussed, they in different systems (ruminants, poultry, pigs). Despite technological progress, there still place further improving approaches, especially non-ruminant species leading higher mitigation reduction Moreover, policy support incentives practices crucial widespread adoption.

The growing global demand for sustainable energy and effective waste management solutions has increased interest in innovative biofuel production methods. This study analyzes research trends utilizing black soldier fly (BSF) larvae from 2010 to 2023. A comprehensive bibliometric analysis was conducted using the Scopus database Bibliometrix R package. revealed a significant publication increase, with an annual growth rate of 23.83%. China Malaysia emerged as leading hubs, contributing 263 178 publications, respectively. Keyword demonstrated shift broad exploration focused studies on biodiesel production, management, circular economy principles. field showed multidisciplinary approach, integrating entomology, biotechnology, engineering. Recent advances highlighted BSF larvae’s efficiency converting various organic wastes into high‐quality biogas, promising results optimizing processes enhancing fuel properties. However, challenges persist scaling up ensuring biological consistency. These findings highlight potential solution simultaneous valorization efforts renewable practices.

Abstract Waste treatment using black soldier fly (BSF; Hermetia illucens L.) larvae is an emerging technology that reduces livestock manure disposal. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of different growth stage BSF on decomposition potential (Experiment 1) and characteristics 2) pig manure. larval instars were randomly divided in three groups according their developmental stage, with replicates per group, a randomized block design. Each group consisted 1 kg 2nd, 3rd, or 4th instar added 10 (Group 1, 2, 3, respectively). In Experiment 2nd 3rd treatments resulted greater levels compared groups. improved nutrient content manure, leading increase total nitrogen decrease carbon C:N ratio, rendering it suitable for use as organic fertilizer. addition, increased N treated not related lower pH levels. can greatly reduce ADF NDF contents result larvae's waste reduction potential. Overall, have proven be useful tool sustainable management by strongly increasing its ability fertilizer agricultural purposes through composting.

The black soldier fly larvae Hermetia illucens L. (Diptera: Stratiomyidae) are an ideal insect to produce compost and animal feed. The goal of this study was use Kitchen waste 50 grams, Cow dung Rotten fruits grams attractants gather wild H. their egg clutches from natural microhabitat in dumping sites. The trapped a 1×1×1 feet trap net.The results indicate that humidity 42.5±50.5%,F = 1.754,P .233and temperature 27.975±37.05ºC,F 1.126,P .353)during the capture clutch environment. The life cycle has included seven instars, duration 39 days, longest time period instar 6 th recorded. We have optimized range 24-30ºC 60-95% indoor rearing illucens. We recorded varying ingredient contents level, highest Moisture at 38.5%, Crude protein 55.13%, fiber 28.18%, fat Total Ash 15.5%.The farming is recommended for quality production under controlled environment which will boost Pakistani economy reduce threats aquatic fauna.
