Climate
change
is
a
contemporary
global
challenge
that
requires
comprehensive
solutions
to
mitigate
its
adverse
effects.
All
human
activities
contribute
climate
change,
mainly
through
atmospheric
emissions
of
greenhouse
gases
(GHGs),
such
as
nitrous
oxide
(N2O),
carbon
dioxide
(CO2),
and
methane
(CH4).
While
most
these
are
primarily
due
fossil
fuel
use,
agriculture
livestock
production
also
significant
share
approximately
12%
emissions.
Most
processes
implemented
within
an
animal
husbandry
unit
associated
with
gas
emissions,
including
manure
management.
This
review
explores
the
interconnection
between
management
practices,
highlighting
potential
for
sustainable
approaches
mitigating
GHG
The
key
strategies
management,
anaerobic
digestion,
nutrient
composting,
separation
treatment,
improved
storage
handling,
discussed,
they
in
different
systems
(ruminants,
poultry,
pigs).

technological
progress,

A
comprehensive
bibliometric
analysis
was
conducted
using
the
Scopus
database
Bibliometrix
R
package.
revealed
a
significant
publication
increase,
with
an
annual
growth
rate
of
23.83%.
China
Malaysia
emerged
as
leading
hubs,
contributing
263
178
publications,
respectively.
Keyword
demonstrated
shift
broad
exploration
focused
studies
on
biodiesel
production,
management,
circular
economy
principles.
field
showed
multidisciplinary
approach,
integrating
entomology,
biotechnology,
engineering.
Recent
advances
highlighted
BSF
larvae’s
efficiency
converting
various
organic
wastes
into
high‐quality
biogas,
promising
results
optimizing
processes
enhancing
fuel
properties.
However,
challenges
persist
scaling
up
ensuring
biological
consistency.
These
findings
highlight
potential
solution
simultaneous
valorization
efforts
renewable
practices.

Abstract

livestock
manure
disposal.

study
aimed
to
evaluate
the
effect
of
different
growth
stage
BSF
on
decomposition
potential
(Experiment
1)
and
characteristics

manure.

instars
were
randomly
divided
in
three
groups
according
their
developmental
stage,
with
replicates
per
group,
a
randomized
block
design.
Each
group
consisted

or

instar

treatments
resulted
greater
levels
compared
