Some
communities
in
the
Veneto
Region
(Italy)
are
facing
a
major
technological
disaster
due
to
per-
and
polyfluoroalkyl
substance
(PFAS)
pollution.
In
response
this
serious
problem,
group
of
ordinary
mothers
exposed
PFAS
contamination
came
together
under
name
MammeNoPfas
(MothersNoPfas)
address
environmental
moving
towards
activism.
They
started
develop
epistemic
capacity
understand
these
substances
disseminate
knowledge
within
their
communities.
The
purpose
study
was
explore
experience
as
an
community
minority
group,
engaged
accidental
form
Based
on
in-depth
narrative
interviews,
23
were
involved
study.
A
grounded
theory
thematic
analysis
methods
used.
Four
themes
emerged:
(1)
health
surveillance,
(2)
collective
ignorance,
(3)
learning,
(4)
practices.
Nine
sub-themes
associated
with
emerging
themes.

demonstrated
that
skills
acquired
by
enabled
significant
participation

The
psychology

climate
change
has
become
a
critical
area
research,
exploring
the
intersection
between
human
behavior,
psychological
wellbeing,
and
environmental
sustainability.
This
paper
presents
bibliometric
analysis
to
explore
interdisciplinary
field
change,
covering
research
from
01
January
1995
15
August
2024.
Using
3,087
academic
publications
Web
Science
employing
VOSviewer
BiblioMatrix
for
network
analysis,
we
dissect
evolution,
key
contributors,
central
themes
within
this
domain.
Our
identifies
leading
authors,
institutions,
nations,
alongside
collaboration
networks
underlying
field’s
growth.
Thematic
clustering
these
highlights
dominant
topics
such
as
pro-environmental
sustainability,
mental
health,
eco-anxiety,
risk
perception.
We
utilize
visual
mappings
co-authorship
bibliographic
relationships
illustrate
dynamic
interaction
among
researchers
their
topics.
By
framing
our
findings
through
lens
justice
psychology,
advocate
paradigm
that
challenges
systemic
barriers
justice,
emphasizing
necessity
equitable
action-oriented
guide
climate-related
policy
public
engagement.

Abstract
Social
psychologists
have
conducted
research
relevant
to
environmental
problems
for
many
decades.
However,
the
climate
crisis
presents
a
new
problem
with
distinctive
aspects
and
urgency.
This
paper
reviews
some
of
principal
ways
in
which
social
psychological
theory
approached
topic,
looking
at
perceptions,
behaviour,
impacts
linked
change.
Each
these
areas
is
becoming
more
sophisticated
acknowledging
diversity
experience
among
groups
that
vary
demographics
roles.
I
close
by
identifying
three
important
facets
future
research:
focus
on
justice,
an
effort
participate
interdisciplinary
efforts,
emphasis
maximizing
our
impact.

perceptions

resilience

how
risk
perceptions,
direct
experiences
with
weather,
perceived
influence
protection
measures
support
relevant
policies.

from
291
respondents

Arab
Emirates
using

questionnaires.

(RECs)

unique
opportunity

enhance
local

psychosocial
predictors
of
social
acceptance
for
RECs,
with
focus
on

Motivation
as

determinants.

This
study
investigated
the
relatively
unexplored
topic
of
collective
memory
environmental
disasters
from
a
psychosocial
perspective.
To
achieve
this,
we
conducted
an
exploratory
case
on
Vaia
storm,
which
hit
Italian
Alps
in
October
2018,
causing
significant
social
and
ecological
damage.
We
carried
out
thirteen
in-depth
semi-structured
interviews
with
members
enunciatory
community
as

people
who
either
experienced
disaster
firsthand,
studied
it,
or
had
particular
interest

thematic
analysis
