Purpose The rapid development and widespread application of artificial intelligence tools have raised concerns about how designers are embracing these technologies. This study investigates the factors influencing designers' behavioral intention to use disclose generative intelligence. Design/methodology/approach A quantitative research approach was employed, designing a structured questionnaire based on Self-Determination Theory assess impact various psychological social dimensions. included dimensions such as autonomy, competence, relatedness, influence, value fit innovativeness. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling analysis conducted 309 valid responses from diverse design fields. Findings Competence relatedness significant continuance Although autonomy does not significantly affect intention, it plays crucial role in decision participation. Social influence shape competence while innovativeness is relatively limited. Originality/value clarifies disclosure both individual dimensions, enhancing understanding relationship between tools. It provides valuable insights for technology future trends industry, offering theoretical practical value.
