The most significant impact of the industrial production process is environmental damage caused by waste generated during production. European Union countries aim to reduce harm reintegrating waste, inputs, and materials consumption activities back into process. purpose this study evaluate studies related circular economy in context within literature. For evaluation, authors used from literature available SCOPUS database for period between 2004 2024. analysis obtained dataset was conducted using PRISMA (2015) approach. According findings, although many exist, focus on implementing regulations laws. Upon reviewing these publications, were found unrelated economy. Furthermore, there a gap employing econometric models analyze economy, no research has been that performs review meta-synthesis methods specifically EU countries. These findings fill guide academics policymakers researching topic.

Introduction The transition to a circular economy is key pillar of European sustainable development. However, in the current context, shaped by multiple crises and geopolitical conflicts, efficiency resilience this are particular concern. policymakers national authorities must adapt their approaches mitigate risks posed external factors while ensuring progress towards sustainability goals. This study analyzes from 2010 2022, assessing economic environmental variables. Methods employs an econometric approach using panel data 27 EU Member States. A linear regression model with fixed effects applied alongside spectral analysis descriptive statistics examine relationships between private investment, gross value added, municipal waste recycling rates, recyclable material flows, greenhouse gas emissions. These methods allow for in-depth evaluation influencing transition. Results Findings indicate that investment integration materials significantly enhance economy. varies across States due regional disparities, inadequate infrastructure, inefficient management. High-emission countries face greater challenges achieving targets, demonstrating need tailored resilient policy measures. Discussion results highlight necessity public policies promote attractiveness sectors, reduce improve management infrastructure. Additionally, emphasizes importance coordinated region-specific accelerate By integrating seasonal analyses, research contributes literature offering nuanced understanding affecting progress. insights valuable supranational developing effective strategies at level.

ABSTRACT Effective natural resource management is essential for balancing economic growth with environmental sustainability, especially in resource‐intensive industries. This study addresses critical issues management, a particular focus on the mining industry. It incorporates digitalization and supply chain distribution within framework of circular economy to achieve mitigate land degradation, realize benefits. In response challenges posed by climate change, scarcity, has emerged as key objective, particularly sectors like mining. The primary research question aims identify criteria strategies that effectively support transition approach operations. To investigate this, employed fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP) method assess various sub‐criteria. Subsequently, technique order preference similarity ideal solution (FTOPSIS) was applied rank strategies, offering comprehensive analysis this decision‐making challenge. FAHP indicates efficiency most crucial criterion, followed digital integration top priorities. Additionally, FTOPSIS shows recovery systems, green logistics, product design fostering sector. These findings give important guidance policymakers industry leaders. They help creating sustainable specifically Through these stakeholders can both environmental, economic, social advantages.

This study fills a significant research gap by examining the factors influencing circular economy in Thailand, particularly within context of developing countries. Utilizing regression and correlation analysis, we investigate key environmental socioeconomic variables: greenhouse gas emissions, forest area percentage, income levels among poorest 20% population, access to electricity, inequality. The novelty this work lies its comprehensive integration these dimensions identify barriers sustainable economy. Key findings reveal that higher emissions correlate with increased recycling, underscoring need for stricter emission controls cleaner technologies. Conversely, greater coverage is associated reduced recycled waste, highlighting importance conservation land use. Economic disparities significantly impact recycling efforts, necessitating supportive policies lower-income groups. Increased electricity correlates waste generation, emphasizing consumption practices. Although inequality rates, it not predictor, indicating necessity broader economic policies. offers novel, recommendations advancing Thailand’s Strategies include implementing controls, enhancing conservation, promoting empowerment, encouraging consumption, integrated These aim address identified challenges support growth alignment goals.
