This study examines how economic and environmental concerns, along with online food shopping habits, influence consumer efforts to reduce household waste, directly through food-related lifestyles. Using SEM analysis on data from a survey of 1000 Italian respondents aged 18–70, our findings highlight that concern positively impacts waste avoidance efforts, while does so indirectly via frugal greater use information. However, seems lower commitment avoidance, by fostering impulsive buying. Monitoring and measurement are crucial activities in managing reducing the impact of food waste. In Europe, average waste per person was estimated at 131 kg, with approximately 10% originating from restaurants foodservice. (1) Background: Globally, millions of tons food are wasted annually, with a significant portion occurring at the household level. This study aimed to quantify waste generated by university students and identify key factors associated this behavior. (2) Methods: A cross-sectional was conducted in community trial involving 227 Colombian students.
