Purpose This paper examines the determinants of e-learning efficiency (ELE) university students in Vietnam. Design/methodology/approach employs SmartPLS version 3.0 and PLS-SEM to estimate research model for dataset 718 observations collected through our survey done 2023 based on online course providing distribution universities across three regions: north, central south. Findings Our results show that self-efficacy (ELSE) monitoring (ELM) have a positive effect ELE strategies (ELS). E-learning attitude (ELA) willpower (ELWP) an indirect influence motivation (ELMM). content (ELCC), design (ELCD) social support (ELSS) play role ELE. ELSS has moderating though ELS ELMM. This study developed a serial mediation model grounded in social cognitive theory to examine how three types of supervisory support (academic, emotional, and autonomy) influence academic procrastination among doctoral students China, emphasizing the sequential mediating roles research self-efficacy persistence intention. Utilizing data from 236 employing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), this uncovered varied effects supports on procrastination. Emotional showed no direct or indirect In contrast, directly reduced procrastination, with effect being sequentially mediated by Autonomy support, while not affecting had its impact The findings underscore importance different mitigating via mechanisms intention, offering valuable insights for creating targeted interventions students.
