One possible solution that mitigates the effects of climate change is implementation vertical greenery systems, which have potential to reduce need for cooling and provide energy savings heating. This paper evaluates an innovative modular green wall on indoor temperature use in a residential case study building. research was carried out house city Ghent, Belgium, whose southwest facade covered with specific type (a structure substrate plants ability purify water so it can be reused house). The monitoring process included four different temperatures (in front behind wall, substrate, without greenery) during winter summer periods. To analyze effect internal use, DesignBuilder simulation model built validated against these experimental results. has proven greatest hottest days by reducing up 3.5 °C. It also effectively increases 1.4 °C cold day, leading 6% annual basis.

This study aimed to evaluate the rooting success of Loropetalum chinense var. rubrum Yieh cuttings in three different media: 100% peat, perlite, and a 50% peat–50% perlite mixture. Additionally, concentrations Indole Butyric Acid (IBA)—1000 ppm, 3000 6000 ppm—were tested, along with control group consisting non-hormone-treated cuttings. The chlorophyll content leaves was measured µmol/m2, its relationship examined. Measurements were conducted every 15 days over 120-day period. collected data analyzed using both an artificial neural network (ANN) SPSS 29.0.2 statistical software. Results indicated that medium yielded highest rate concentration, whereas peat performed poorest. While 1000 ppm IBA led greatest improvement rate, resulted concentration. levels observed during measurement periods M7, M8, M9. Analyses moisture pH physicochemical properties media significantly influenced cutting development. aims support identification optimal propagation methods for this species contribute literature by developing ANN model based on parameters.
