Interdisciplinary teaching is a pivotal strategy for deepening disciplinary theory and broadening students’ cognitive boundaries, crucial the sustainability of education. By considering scientific knowledge’s humanistic background technological evolution, this study proposes novel interdisciplinary framework based on Source–Knowledge–Use (SKU) paradigm. Then, taking fuzzy mathematics as case, Humanities–Science–Technology Model (HSTM), tripartite progression from foundations to principles then applications, was established. This systematically expounds HSTM’s framework, contents, implementation design, while critically examining potential challenges corresponding mitigation strategies. The proposed SKU-based not only provides methodological guidance instruction in but also offers transferable insights cognate disciplines seeking implement sustainable educational practices.
