The Qinghai–Xizang Plateau (QXP) is the highest plateau on Earth, with a significant quantity of iron resources that significantly contribute to regional economic development in Western China. However, exploitation these deposits QXP confronted dual challenges. complex geography and weak infrastructure lead inadequate transport accessibility, while strict ecological regulations stringent environmental protection policies further complicate resource development. This study focuses accessibility issues related QXP, aiming assess suitability for conducts comprehensive, multidimensional analysis encompassing spatial distribution deposits, characteristics network, dynamics. Based analyses, an integrated evaluation model developed QXP. results indicate displays obvious disparities. western exhibit lower due remoteness from major centers underdeveloped infrastructure. In contrast, eastern which are closer transportation centers, show greater potential. Additionally, this innovatively incorporates dynamics factors into framework, revealing coupling relationship between conditions, patterns, mineral It provides scientific evidence balancing ecologically sensitive areas. findings could optimizing strategies provide theoretical support future planning.
