Because of its huge potential influence on consumers, society, and businesses, digitalization has been named "the fourth industrial revolution." English teachers’ post-pandemic motivational experiences within Macau’s hybrid postcolonial context have not been extensively investigated, although teacher motivation is crucial to the quality of education and student outcomes. This qualitative study aimed address this gap by interviewing 13 teachers across Macau universities about their motivations. Semi-structured interviews were iteratively coded identify key themes. The results indicated that intrinsic motivations included a passion for teaching helping students, as well an altruistic desire contribute. Positive relationships between students motivated participants, while disengaged behavior, lack participation in policies, unclear roles, unbalanced workloads demotivated them. Digital transformation (DT) is crucial for SMEs to streamline operational efficiency, foster innovation, and meet upcoming challenges. Integrating sustainability into this process not only enhances a company’s reputation but also attracts customers investors who value environmental responsibility. Despite opportunity, many operate without clear plans strategies. The literature review identified lack of roadmaps that integrate the digital SMEs. Thus, paper aims propose sustainable roadmap evaluates their maturity facilitates gradual implementation in alignment with strategic objectives. A systematic using Methodi Ordinatio defined six key dimensions transformation. In the era of Industry 4.0, digital transformation has become a cornerstone for modern organizations, fundamentally altering how businesses operate and compete.
