Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2013 to 2022, this paper constructs a measurement index system for symbiotic level digital innovation ecosystems three dimensions: symbiosis subjects, environment, and interaction. This applies entropy weight TOPSIS method, Dagum Gini coefficient decomposition, spatial convergence analysis empirically examine levels, regional disparities, China’s ecosystem. The results are as follows: (i) At national level, ecosystem has generally increased, creating distribution pattern that is “high east, flat middle, low west”. (ii) From perspective, major disparities between regions primary factors contributing overall difference (iii) perspective σ convergence, constantly expanding, uneven development intensifying. (iv) absolute β with lower levels have faster growth rate than higher symbiosis, there certain spillover effect. (v) conditional economic structure application can accelerate extent.

Small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) face complex systemic challenges in managing digital transformation while pursuing innovation an increasingly interconnected business environment. This study adopts a systems theory perspective to investigate how digitalization enhances Innovation Performance by examining the dynamic interrelationships among adoption, drive, culture, Performance.
