The rediscovery of the silver-backed chevrotain, an endemic species to Vietnam, in 2019, after almost 30 years being lost science, is a remarkable outcome for global conservation agenda. However, along with happiness, there tremendous concern as eating wildmeat, including deeply rooted socio-cultural values Vietnamese. Meanwhile, plans face multiple obstacles since has not been listed list endangered, precious, and rare wildlife prioritized protection still classified by IUCN lacking data. Given limited effectiveness measures, this essay discusses determining roles local actions, community cooperation, humanistic oriented toward eco-surplus culture addressing biodiversity agenda, specifically chevrotain. Local actions cooperation can be actualized achieve goals through citizen sciences, integration modern technologies (e.g., Internet, crowdfunding platforms, social media, AI, etc.), bonding capability that prioritize environmental healing. Communicating information community, especially children, stimulate their thinking imagination about nature, develop curiosity desire protect wildlife, eventually build core mindsets. To successfully awaken within incorporate them into endeavors, message name “mouse-deer”, “chevrotain”, or scientific (Tragulus versicolor) largely insufficient they show unfamiliar feeling. Therefore, we suggest calling mouse-deer “cheo cheo”, create familiarity closeness, conscience values, imagination. The rediscovery of the silver-backed chevrotain (Tragulus versicolor), an endemic species to Vietnam, in 2019 – after almost 30 years being lost science is a remarkable outcome for conservation. Since its rediscovery, there has been significant concern conservation due hunting wild meat, practice deeply rooted Vietnamese culture. Conservation plans face multiple obstacles as not yet listed endangered by International Union Nature lack data. Given limited effectiveness current measures, we propose that local actions, community cooperation, and empathetic values can help conserve through integrating modern technologies (e.g. Internet, crowdfunding platforms, social media, AI, etc.) with citizen science. As mounting evidence highlights the human-driven extinction of avian species, reconnecting people with nature – particularly where birds are concerned has become essential for engaging public in conservation and preservation biodiversity. Paradoxically, heightened awareness benefits bring fueled rise aviary bird-keeping entertainment Vietnam. This paper seeks to unravel absurdity bird keepers who claim love support while practices that exploit commodify human interests. The global water crisis is being exacerbated by climate change, even in the United States. Recycled a feasible alternative to alleviate shortage, but it constrained humans’ perceptions. current study examines how residents’ scarcity awareness and change belief influence their willingness use recycled directly indirectly. Bayesian Mindsponge Framework (BMF) analytics was employed on dataset of 1831 residents Albuquerque, New Mexico, an arid inland region US. We discovered that direct potable positively affected scarcity, effect conditional impacts cycle. Meanwhile, indirect influenced awareness, further enhances this effect. These findings implicate fighting denialism informing public situation can contribute effectiveness sustainability long-term conservation alleviation efforts.

Aesthetics is a crucial ecosystem service provided by biodiversity, which believed to help improve humans' quality of life and linked environmental consciousness pro-environmental behaviors. However, how aesthetic experience induced plants/animals influences the belief in occurrence significance biodiversity loss among urban residents remains understudied. Thus, current study aimed examine diversity pets in-house plants affect residents' different scenarios experiences (positive negative at home due plants/animals). Using Bayesian Mindsponge Framework (BMF) analytics on dataset 535 Vietnamese residents, we found that people's feeling about their house positively associated with loss. The also level belief, but effect conditional residents. Specifically, positive association between species only appears when feel houses' aesthetics are negatively affected plants/animals. Moreover, pet less significant reliable than plant diversity. These findings suggest raising through planting or ownership can potentially enhance subsequently build an eco-surplus culture
