This cross-sectional study explores the knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to asthma among 430 patients in a tertiary care setting, utilizing convenience sampling technique. The assessed participants' understanding of asthma, including knowledge about general information, signs symptoms, risk factors, as well their attitudes regarding management. analysis revealed significant variations based on education level, with higher correlating better more positive attitudes. mean rank varied significantly across educational levels (p = 0.000), postgraduates showing highest ranks attitude, practices. Correlations between asthma-related were observed, particularly factors (r 0.230, p 0.000) overall which influenced 0.191, 0.215, 0.000). Knowledge had weak correlation 0.165, 0.001) negative -0.114, 0.018). Attitude correlated attitude also correlations 0.136, 0.005). Despite correlations, found that alone did not guarantee practices, suggesting need for comprehensive programs. results highlight importance improving patient outcomes underscore further research explore complex interactions education, socio-economic healthcare access shaping management strategies.

Introduction: A level of hesitancy existed among parents when United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved pediatric COVID-19 vaccines were introduced. We explored attitudes, beliefs, willingness health care personnel (HCP) as to vaccinate children less than 18 years age. Methods: developed a cross-sectional survey for HCPs parents, including clinical nonclinical staff, researchers, trainees at single academic medical institution. assessed role categories by vaccination status, their children, history. analyzed data via cross tabulation Pearson correlation examine relationships across variables. Results: There total 1,538 research respondents. Nurses had higher history compared other roles (29.2%, P<.001). Vaccinated nurses more likely (64.6%, was significant negative between self-identification nurse themselves (r=-.157, P<.001) or any child (r=-.150, P<.001), positive having (r=.118, Having negatively correlated with personal vaccine status (r=-.217, intent (r=-.252, While 77.8% (n=123) all vaccinated willingly, 65.8% (n=104) least one vaccinated; 81.3% willingly (n=100) child, vs 11.4% (n=4) who mandated unvaccinated themselves. Conclusions: hesitant roles, rates history, if they unvaccinated.

Background/Objectives: Healthcare professionals (HCPs) hold significant influence over public attitudes toward vaccinations. Studies suggest that HCPs are hesitant towards the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines. This hesitancy could lead to lower vaccination rates in community. Therefore, this scoping review aimed assess extent of COVID-19 booster doses among and identify associated factors. Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted PubMed Scopus databases from April August 2024, using keywords related COVID-19, vaccine hesitancy, HCPs, vaccination. had been peer-reviewed, published English after 2022, focused on dose were included. Out 6703 studies screened, 24 Results: Most have received their initial series However, there is a rate uptake for doses, with ranging 12% 66.5%. Hesitancy varied significantly across continents, Asia, Africa, Europe 19.7% 66.5%, 27% 46.1%, 14% 60.2%, respectively. reported be influenced by various factors, including concerns about safety, necessity, effectiveness these In addition, regarding also found factors like age, gender, profession, previous COVID-19. Physicians, nurses, pharmacists exhibited 12.8% 43.7%, 26% 37%, 34.6%, Conclusions: Our underscores receiving countries around world explores underlying These findings provide valuable insights design future pandemic programs.
