Abstract This review provides an in‐depth analysis of vitamin E's multifaceted role in swine nutrition, incorporating both traditional insights and contemporary research. It begins with exploration E from evolutionary perspective, followed by a detailed examination its absorption, metabolism, excretion swine. The emphasizes the micronutrient's critical functions physiology, particularly antioxidant properties emerging links to epigenetics, which include deoxyribonucleic acid methylation, histone modification, noncoding ribonucleic regulation. interactions other dietary components are discussed, along established nutritional requirements current recommendations for supplementation. Additionally, health benefits performance improvements associated presented, emphasizing importance immune function, growth, meat quality. Despite extensive research, identifies gaps understanding bioavailability long‐term impacts different isoforms supra‐nutritional supplementation levels. concludes discussion research future directions, need studies on effects high‐dose influence environmental factors metabolism. Through this comprehensive synthesis, study aims provide holistic essential contributions goal informing better practices enhancing productivity.
