Road traffic accidents are a significant public health issue, accounting for almost 1.3 million deaths worldwide annually, with millions more experiencing non-fatal injuries. A variety of subjective and objective factors contribute to the occurrence accidents, making it difficult predict prevent them on new road sections. Artificial neural networks (ANN) have demonstrated their effectiveness in predicting using limited data sets. This study presents two ANN models common roads Republic Serbia Srpska (Bosnia Herzegovina) that can be easily determined, such as length, terrain type, width, average daily volume, speed limit. In this work, the possibility of obtaining biopolymer films from Camelina sativa oilseed cake (CSoC) at different parameters synthesis process was investigated. The pH (values 8, 10, and 12), temperature (60, 80, 100 °C), concentration in film-forming suspension (3, 4, 5%) were varied. obtained characterized by studying mechanical, barrier, physico-chemical, structural, biological properties (antioxidant antimicrobial). results showed moderate mechanical properties, indicating application these materials as coatings. Low values water vapor permeability (5.1–12.26 g/m2h) very low transmission UV range (less than 2%) indicate good barrier properties. FTIR analysis confirmed films’ composite structures: peaks related to proteins, polysaccharides, lipids, cellulose detected. activity CSoC pronounced so that they could be used for active packaging. Abstract Purpose To anticipate the impact of illegal landfills, development new models should become a part environmental risk management strategies. One such approaches includes applications artificial neural network (ANN). The main objective this study was to elucidate landfilling on surrounding soil environment and human health, as well establish an (ANN) for predicting hazards effective tool in decision-making management. Due to high water content, chokeberries (Aronia melanocarpa L.) are perishable. Therefore, energy-saving, combined drying technologies have been explored improve the chokeberry drying. The microwave and traditional convective method (MCD) significantly enhanced effectiveness, efficiency, energy utilization rate improved product quality. MCD method, which implies power (MD) of 900 W for 9 s dehydration (CD) at 230 °C 12 s, has shortest time t (24 ± 2 min), maximum coefficient diffusion (Deff = 6.0768 × 10−9 5.9815 10−11 m2 s−1), represents most effective process (Emin 0.382 0.036 kWh). This work aimed to determine the influence of biopolymer coatings based on pumpkin oil cake, with and without addition Mentha piperita essential oil, quality shelf-life Afus Ali variety grapes, stored at room temperature in refrigerator. Furthermore, a 10% (w/w) aqueous solution composite cake (PuOC) 30% glycerol was prepared 60 °C pH 10. The active coating similarly by adding 1% (v/v) oil. packed grapes tested determining dry matter content, total sugar acidity, alcohol phenolic compounds flavonoid as well antioxidant activity, through application DPPH, FRAP ABTS tests. In this study, an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model is used to solve the complex task of producing fresh cheese with desired quality parameters. This study aimed at investigating the synthesis of biopolymer films based on Camelina sativa cake, an agricultural waste which remains after cold pressing oil from seed. Sweet potatoes ( Ipomoea batatas ) are globally cultivated due to its adaptability, high nutritional value, and short growing season, tolerance high-temperature soils, low fertility, minimal pest or disease issues, making it a valuable asset the food industry. Osmotic treatment, renowned preservation technique requiring mild temperatures energy, has gained prominence. Over ten years of research at Faculty Technology Novi Sad pioneered use sugar beet molasses as an effective osmotic solution for drying different herbs, fruits, vegetables, meat. This study specifically focused on osmotically treating samples pink orange sweet in (80% w/w) explore influence (20°C, 35°C, 50°C) treatment durations (1h, 3h, 5h) mass transfer rate efficiency. The Principal Component Analysis (PCA) color correlation analysis were employed illustrate connections between potato samples. Findings indicate that peaks onset process. Particularly with highest temperature after 1h values RWL RSG (13.33±0.02, 1.85±0.04 11.51±0.02, accordingly) obtained both ((15.19±0.08 g/(gi.s.w.·s)·105and 4.53±0.06 g/(gi.s.w.·s)·105) ((9.91±0.02 g/(gi.s.w.·s)·105 3.78±0.04 g/(gi.s.w.·s)·105), respectively. Notably, diffusion is most rapid within initial three hours, suggesting potential reductions processing time aligned these results.
