With the increasing presence of large-scale new energy sources, such as wind and photovoltaic (PV) systems, integrating traditional hydropower with PV power into a hydro–wind–PV complementary system in economic dispatch can effectively mitigate fluctuations. In this study, Markov chains Copula joint distribution function were adopted to quantize spatiotemporal relationships among hydro, PV, whereby runoff, wind, output scenarios generated simulate their uncertainties. A dual-objective optimization model is proposed for long-term co-scheduling (LHWP-CS) problem. To solve model, well-tailored evolutionary multi-objective method was developed, which combines multiple recombination operators two different dominance rules basic elite populations. The algorithm tested on three annual reservoirs large farms Hongshui River Basin. demonstrates superior performance, average improvements 2.90% 2.63% total generation, 1.23% 0.96% minimum expectation compared BORG NSGA-II, respectively. results also infer that number key parameter achieving tradeoff between economics risk.
