Sustainability has become a cornerstone of strategic priorities for higher education institutions, particularly in addressing global challenges. This study investigates the perception sustainable university among international students, focusing on critical determinants shaping their evaluations. Employing questionnaire-based methodology, this perspectives students from both European Union (EU) and non-European (non-EU) countries, with focus identifying dimensions including environmental campus operations, awareness, research innovation, as well governance performance measurement frameworks. Findings highlight significant cultural geographical differences: EU give ratings to activities undertaken by home universities every area studied than non-EU counterparts. The largest differences are found related policies, governance. A smaller difference is visible variables basic where p-value indicates less differences. may be due different backgrounds, educational experiences, expectations level integration social system.
