Doxorubicin (DOX) cancer therapy induces serious cardiotoxicity as a side effect. This study aimed to investigate the cardioprotective effects of grape seed extract (GSE) and L-Carnitine (L-CA) against DOX-induced cardiac toxicity in male rats. Six groups albino rats were used: G1 (control); G2 (GSE), given (100 mg/kg b.wt.) orally for 35 days; G3 (150 b.wt.); Group 4 (DOX-induced cardiotoxicity), DOX (10 b.wt., i.p.) on 28th day experiment; G5 (GSE + DOX), GSE previously mentioned; G6 (L-CA L-CA mentioned. Electrocardiographic evaluation, lipid profile, peroxidation antioxidants, serum markers, inflammatory markers estimated. Histopathological evaluation tissue was also examined. Key findings showed that induced ECG abnormalities peroxidation, reduced elevated markers. significantly ameliorated abnormalities, improved antioxidant enzymes inflammation. These suggest exhibit substantial via their anti-inflammatory potentials.
