Distance learning is an alternative way to reduce the spread of Covid-19 pandemic. In this situation, was conducted through electronic media and internet connection independently. So, in case, students must take initiative understand material without having a face-to-face guide from teacher which might increase their autonomy. This research aims examine students’ reflections on how they learned English autonomously during pandemic unveil perception learner autonomy, find out factors that influence autonomy after experiencing distance learning. The present implemented mixed-method design by administering questionnaire conducting semi-structured interview. respondents were Language Education Study Program at State Islamic University Mataram. findings showed gain utilizing resources optimally, such as YouTube, Google, social media, applications They also have very positive response terms role learner, lecturer, type task, environment
