This research aims to investigateinterest and readiness of prospective elementary school (SD) teachers towards training workshopscomic-based developmentArtificial Intelligence (AI). Through surveysof 104 respondents, data was collected analyzed evaluatethe level interest, obstacles faced, the urgency such training.The results show that majority respondents (49%) expressed readinessto take part in workshop, while 48.1% gave answer "maybewilling". However, 2.9% showed disagreement withthe workshop. The main obstacle identified difficulty indrawing characters (76.9%) writing story scripts (30.8%). Urgency fororganizing workshops lies potential improveprospective teachers' skills using new technology supportlearning, creating an innovative learning environmentrelevant for students this digital era. Thus, researchprovides valuable insights workshop organizers educatorsin designing programs suit needs interests candidateselementary developing comics with artificial intelligence technology.
