Objective: To explore the perception of university students on use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for development autonomous learning. Theoretical Framework: The research is based Technological Acceptance Theory and Constructivism, focusing AI in learning students. Method: Quantitative approach with a descriptive scope, sample consisted 665 enrolled Faculty Education Sciences Languages (FCEI) Peninsula de Santa Elena State University (UPSE)-Ecuador; collection information, Questionnaire Perception Use Autonomous Learning was designed 4 dimensions both variables, statistical program SPSS version 29 used data processing. Results Discussion: results indicate that show favorable towards process, however, although recognized as potential tool environments, there are still challenges to be overcome. Research Implications: study has practical implications strengthening digital competencies needed effectively their Originality/Value: provides among students, offering starting point future technology integration strategies universities.
