The COVID-19 pandemic caused a global health crisis that led to sudden migration of many educational activities digital environments. This affected the digitization process higher education. paper conducts quantitative statistical analysis impact had on habits use information and communication technologies (ICT) among 426 Latin American university professors in engineering areas. After the curriculum reforms from 2021 to 2023, public universities in Thailand have been adapting integrate ICT and digital literacy into their teaching. This research explores changes experienced by teachers when integrating with student English teacher education programs after pandemic. During COVID-19, online learning was mandatory, necessitating significant adjustments. study also investigates challenges associated these changes. The participants were six firsthand experience revised 2023. Semi-structured interviews used as instrument. interview data grouped themes according degree of change encountered teachers. findings showed four levels due reforms: changing course names, descriptions, topics, assessments. Along changes, faced several challenges: selecting appropriate resources, insufficient knowledge, need for pedagogical adjustments, training support, infrastructure limitations, time constraints. suggests that should offer ongoing professional development help keep up landscape. Abstract The COVID‐19 pandemic has led to a process of digitalisation higher education that forced change in the habits use information and communication technologies (ICT) among professors. literature analyses this impact from different perspectives, but gender gaps may have occurred regard not been studied so far. main purpose is analyse gap self‐concept digital competence Latin American professors had on ICT them. For purpose, paper conducts quantitative research. A questionnaire designed by authors answered sample 1062 professors, responses statistically analysed. results prove influences males more than females terms their assessment didactic ICT. caused frequencies teaching activities homogenise. Females increased males—a certain correction occurs region after pandemic, within faculty. faculty males, insufficient hinders full both cases. It recommended universities develop training plans aimed at facilitating an egalitarian integration.

Critical thinking disposition is a component of higher-order skills required to meet 21st-century challenges. This research aimed develop Moodle-assisted Guided Inquiry model (GI-Moodle) for General Biology e-learning and enhance university students' critical disposition. Fenrich's instructional was used in this development research. Meanwhile, quasi-experimental study conducted at the implementation stage. carried out Faculty Applied Science Engineering, Undikma. The data were collected using validation sheets California Thinking Disposition Inventory. Descriptive quantitative analysis ANCOVA done. results revealed that: general biology developed reliable valid; increased from pretest posttest, where GI-Moodle students achieved better than WhatApp Group-assisted (GI-WAG) Structured (SI-WAG); GI-WAG E-learning did not have significant effect, but it significantly different compared SI-WAG class.
