Background/Objectives: Canada’s long-term care (LTC) sector is struggling with a significant staffing crisis related to shortages, high-turnover rate, and challenging working conditions. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated these issues emphasized the need for improved mental health support LTC staff. Understanding addressing wellbeing of staff important ensuring quality promoting positive work environment healthy workforce. This study explored experiences in Canadian homes during offers staff-driven recommendations retention moving forward. Methods: We applied Collaborative Action Research (CAR) methodology explore practical strategies inform actions change. Sixteen members two large urban were interviewed using remote videoconferencing phone calls conduct one-on-one interviews. Thematic analysis was performed.
