Developing advanced technologies and their integration into educational spaces generates new training opportunities. Examples of these are Future Classrooms (FC) Smart Learning Environments (SLE), two concepts linked to innovation through technology but also have differences. This paper aims identify the similarities differences between FC developed in Spanish formal context concerning theory SLE. study follows an exploratory research methodology using ad hoc questionnaire applied transversally a representative sample teachers involved SLE (N = 66). SPSS V. 28 software was used. In relation results, some statistics (mean, standard deviation, kurtosis skewness) were used analyse practices professional satisfaction. conclusion, at initial stage development Spain, although they could represent approximation what would be practical basis SLE, there still several aspects developed, especially dimension attention diversity. technologies, related automation certain processes include artificial intelligence, learning analytics sensors, among others. This study introduces a framework that integrates business analytics into educational decision-making to improve learner engagement and performance in Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), focusing on learning environments English as Foreign Language (EFL). By examining three specific research questions, this paper delineates patterns engagement, evaluates factors affect these patterns, examines the relationship between outcomes. The provides an empirical analysis elucidates connection behaviors outcomes by employing machine learning, process mining, statistical methods such hierarchical clustering, discovery, Mann–Kendall test. determines characterized single-phase or multi-phase, repetitive non-repetitive, sequential self-regulated, are more closely associated with nature of content—such books, series, reading levels—than characteristics. Furthermore, it has been observed learners exhibiting self-regulated tend achieve superior academic findings advocate for integrating practices, offer strategic insights enhancements, propose new perspective behavior success.

E-learning platforms have become increasingly popular across various industries, with higher education institutions being among the primary adopters. Learning management systems (LMSs) emerged as valuable tools that facilitate of learning and training processes while providing support for administration. However, LMS often offer limited functionality monitoring students’ instructional progress, which is essential understanding how learners interact courses materials. As a result, identifying at-risk students, tracking their intervening when necessary can be challenging. The substantial amount data generated by transformed into meaningful indicators allow learners’ progress enhancing self-regulation. Our research project focuses on developing set pedagogical using analytics to monitor progress. We present case study where we tracked monitored students in Web Technologies course e-campus platform at Cadi Ayyad University (Morocco), student performance (SPIs). findings this suggest employing SPIs help faculty members identify underperforming anticipate those risk, ultimately enabling them provide timely interventions

Abstract In order to gain insights into the key factors affecting students’ success in online education, this paper extracts learning behavioral feature indicators through record data platform, applies attribute approximation algorithm based on Bayesian Fuzzy Rough Set (IDB-BRS) model of indicators, and utilizes improved Apriori mine association rules between behaviors effects. The is used establish comparison VPFRS algorithm, IDB-BRS does not necessitate pre-given parameters achieves superior classification accuracy time Soybean, Credit, Balance datasets, thereby offering greater practical value. reveal that students who carefully study course resources, actively submit assignments, frequently contribute positively their learning. This holds significant implications for enhancing effectiveness education.
