such

Conclusion
This
review
sheds
light

academic
distress,
emphasizing
key

outlining

directions.
By

Abstract
Aim

describe
medical‐surgical
nurses'
reflections
on
their
experiences
with
patient
deterioration.
Background
An
extensive
body
of
knowledge

regarding
optimal
responses
to
acute
deterioration
within
a
hospital
environment.

has
focused

psychological
and
emotional
impact
these
unexpected
