Dental plaque and poor oral hygiene are well-known risk factors for gingivitis, periodontitis, other dental diseases. Using a manual toothbrush to remove mechanically is essential maintaining good every day avoiding problems. Consequently, different toothbrushes assessed evaluate their effectiveness in removal. Objective: To find the association between types of tooth brushing techniques school children. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted schoolchildren aged 15-18 years convenience sampling used get data from sample size 211. Utilizing SPSS version 26.0, were examined determine frequencies percentages. The chi-square test utilized investigate potential associations with techniques. Results: It showed that 58.3% children male, while 41.7% female. majority (76.8%) toothpaste, 59.2% brushed once daily, smaller group thrice (10%) 45% have never visited dentist. Modified Bass technique proved most effective, 42.2% showing no plaque. vertical combined moderate levels, highlighting significant impact on accumulation, as shown by p-value <0.001. Conclusion: revealed had highest rate reducing plaque, horizontal greatest buildup.
