Gaining Teachers' Insights: School Library Access and Its Significance on Science and Mathematics Education

However,
the
contribution
of
school

subjects
remains
unexplored
despite
attention

Engineering
education.
This
study
examined
insights
from
teachers
regarding
role
library
resources,
such
as
books,
research
materials,
interactive
tools,
in
supporting
students'
comprehension,
critical
thinking,
problem-solving
skills
subjects.
Employing
a
qualitative
approach
within
an
interpretive
paradigm,
used
multiple-case
design.
Data
collection
involved
questionnaires
administered
12
six
purposefully
selected
schools.
Findings
indicated
that
access
positively
impacts
student
engagement
education
resources
facilitate
better
understanding
application
concepts,
encourage
independent
exploration,
nurture
inquiry-based
learning,
act
bridges
integration
subjects,
mitigate
resource
disparities,
provide
teacher
professional
development.
The
concludes
by
not
only
advocating
heightened
prominence
on
schools
but
also
positions
key
elements
channeling
toward
use
invaluable
informative
hubs
shape
landscape
Thus,
opens
door
paradigm
shift
optimization
all
harness
unrealized
potential
pages
interfaces
illuminating
transformational
significance

Inquiry-based
learning
in
science
education
at
the
elementary
level
holds
significant
potential
to
enhance
teaching
quality,
yet
its
developmental
trends
remain
insufficiently
mapped.
This
article
aims
analyze
research
of
inquiry-based
using
a
bibliometric
approach.
The
study
was
conducted
through
four
stages
analysis:
identification,
screening,
eligibility,
and
inclusion.
Data
were
retrieved
from
Scopus
database
keywords
“inquiry-based
learning,”
“science,”
“elementary
school,”
yielding
43
selected
documents
2014
2023,
all
English.
analysis
reveals
three
key
terms
that
frequently
appear
these
studies:
learning”
(22
occurrences,
link
strength
76),
“students”
(14
76,
links
35),
school”
(7
37).
highest
number
publications
recorded
2023
with
eight
documents,
while
lowest
numbers
occurred
2017
2021,
only
one
document
each.
concludes
approaches
have
received
limited
attention
international
researchers.
Thus,
further
studies
are
needed
expand
scope
this
topic
contributions
primary
education.
