Adhering
to
ASTM

mortar
specimens.

achieving

required
sand
gradation
per
C778-21
can
be
challenging.

paper
presents
a
faster
method
for
adjusting
without
compromising
standards.
The
proposed
involves
analyzing
six
silica
samples
of
different
gradations,
pre-screening
sands,
using
Excel
Solver
optimal
mixture
ratios,
making
automated
tweaks
with
precise
calculations,
and
validating
ensure
compliance.
After
adjustments,
compressive
strength
tests
were
conducted
on
mortars
modified
results
compared
those
standard-graded
sand.

statistical
analysis,
new
yielded
reliable
outcomes

standard
sands.

Recycled
manure
solids
(RMS)
are
dried
cow
dung
processed
using
a
dewatering
machine
and
subsequently
sun-dried
to
~
20%
moisture.
Benefits
of
RMS
include
abundant
availability,
low
cost,
eco-friendliness,
but
its
use
as
bedding
material
for
cows
is
hindered
by
moisture
content
that
promotes
microbial
growth.
