In the military, officers not only use critical thinking (CT) in their military mission, but they are also required to have CT complete tasks at work and professional education. Improving learning process of for intelligence personnel directly benefits both people that protect, allowing them be more effective duties decision-making. However, graduates education institutions often lack problem-solving. Thus, this study aims evaluate need skills among officer cadets. Specifically, objective is identify officers' perceived definition importance teaching A semi-structured interview was conducted with thirteen (13) in-service Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF). Four main themes emerged from feedback given by officers. They i) analytical thinking, ii) evaluation information, iii) problem-solving, iv) The results show being implemented beginning (cadet level). suggest there a develop module cadets practical them.

Critical thinking and academic writing skills are important to be learnt by students especially at tertiary level. However, these two reported not being able portrayed when they required solve problems. Hence, this study aimed investigate students’ perceptions towards their critical determine relationship between the perceived skills. Cross-sectional research design was employed there were 122 responses obtained. The results showed that both as good it also discovered a significant correlation self-perceived This implicated educators needed integrate during teaching learning processes. Thus, future could more in-depth utilising qualitative approach performance added another variable looked into researchers.
