This research investigates the landscape of threat detection, prevention strategies, and cyber risk management within Government Information Systems in Indonesia. A quantitative approach, employing Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), was utilized to analyze data collected from 150 participants across diverse government institutions. The study assessed perceived threats, effectiveness detection mechanisms, strategy implementation, practices. Findings revealed significant regional variations perception underscored importance both technological human-centric approaches. Cyber-attacks have become a serious global cybersecurity issue, affecting sectors such as petroleum, finance, health, and industry. The financial banking are particularly vulnerable, experiencing disproportionate harm due to the escalating complexity of digital threats. Recent academic efforts focused on developing countermeasures, but these primarily concentrated technical solutions, which alone insufficient. persistent success cyber-attacks highlights need for better understanding human susceptibility cyber scams.
